Finalmente is a Dolphin 460 2007 that has a waterline of 45' 4", overall length of 45' 9" and a 24' beam. I work with The Multihull Company in selling new and used catamarans and would be happy to help you in finding the right boat for you. We can also assist you in selling your boat if you currently have one. The Dolphin 460 that you see here is my demo boat and it is currently moored in La Spezia, Italy. Finalmente is available for immediate sale, or I could help with the purchase of a new semi-custom Dolphin 460 2008. I say semi-custom because the great thing about the Dolphin is that you have the ability to customize nearly everything. The company will work with your personal needs unlike a production boat company. I have attached a few items for your review. To better serve you we have agents all over the world. If you have decided on a time-line that you would like to meet for acquiring Finalmente or a new boat please let me know. You may contact me at niorsi@gmail.com.
Information on Finalmente a Dolphin 460 2007: She was launched in April 2007 and sailed by me and a small crew from Brasil to Italy. The trip took five weeks stopping in the Azores for a week and Spain for three days before arriving in Santa Margherita Ligure, Italy. Total distance 5,400nm and the Dolphin handled as I suspected; perfectly. If you are looking for a fully loaded catamaran that actually sails, Finalmente or a new Dolphin 460 is the best catamaran for the money. Finalmente was built with the intention to show Europe that a catamaran can be big, fast, livable and affordable. She was shown at the Cannes 2007 Boat Show as a fully loaded, needing nothing to be added for around the world sailing and living aboard. Extras added to Finalmente cost about $253,000 (€197,000), a Saloon Entertainment Center with 32" Sony LCD flat-screen TV built in to the cabinet, Bose 321 GSX sound system, Fagor washer/dryer, 4 meter tender with a 40 HP motor, 8-85w solar panels, 9-kva Onan Generator, Horizon Seafari 900 (142 lts per hour), dual Racor filter system, etc. plus $26,000 (€20,000) for the delivery cost to Italy. She was a show hit. Finalmente is offered for sale in Italy for $900,000 or about €700,000 as of today. Price subject to change without notice.
A new Dolphin's sail away price from Brazil is $750,000 or about €585,000 when the Brazilian dollar is 2.00 to 2.30 for every US dollar. Most owners, depending on their personalized needs, add extras like a generator, solar, washer/dryer, more sails, etc., and the cost for extras can range from $100,000 (€78,000) to $250,000 (€195,000). To deliver a boat from Brazil to Italy will cost about $30,000 (€24,000). Therefore, a new well equipped Dolphin 460, delivered to Italy would cost about $880,000 (€687,000), or a fully loaded boat like Finalmente would cost about $1,030,000 (€800,000).
You may also want to consider two other previously owned Dolphin 460's that are for sale. First is Morrigan, built in 2006. She is moored in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and is being offered at $650,000. Second, is Lorilie. She was built in 2007 with carbon fiber rotating mast and a carbon fiber boom. She is moored in Hollywood, Florida and is being offered at $639,000. I can deliver either boat to a location of your choice. Please visit our website at www.multihullcompany.com for additional information.
If I can be of any further service, please let me know. I am currently on the West Coast of the US and will be heading back to Italy on the 1st of March, 2009. On a new boat my services will take you from step one to final delivery, and because I have done it for myself I can save you a lot of time, money and headaches.
